Before pic (not my actual car but a good reference of what’s now gone):
Everything looks better without badges and letters and other useless information on the back of cars.
(excuse the excessive sticker use, I’m mentally 12 years old sometimes...okay all the time)

Ah but they did keep the Acura logo.
Unfortunately it would be very difficult to do a full brand delete on my vehicle
Tailgate embossing.

You say its useless, but you’d be surprised how often people ask me if my ‘08 TL is a four-banger or a six. “They all have sixes,” I say, “Oh,” they reply.
Then again, were I to put an engine displacement badge on - like the one from your 2nd gen, people would still ask if it has a six. I suppose that’s not entirely inexcusable, since there have been fours with displacement of 3.0L or more, like the 944.
Maybe I should just throw this Ford V6 badge on, that’ll shut them up!

When I hadd my 2001 Civic, hell when I had my 99 Civic people would ask on a regular basis if it had four or six cylinders. I always had a hard time not slapping them. I’d usually just say “no civic has ever had a 6 cylinder engine.
What’s really good is when some one says “does it have a V6 or a V4?... my sister aksed that about her own Mercury Mariner. the second day she had it.

If I ever own a M3 sedan, I shall get it repainted silver and change out the front and rear bumpers to base bumpers. Steelies (with the appropriate width to maintain suspension balance) will be put on to maintain sleeper status. Finally M3 badges will be removed and a 320i badged will be placed.

BMW hasn’t used steelies since the 80s. Stock alloys would look normal but they’d have to clear the brakes.

I’m thinking about doing that exact same thing to my car.

They still sold steelies as winter wheels, I’ve seen those on E90s even

They still look out of place. Like you’re trying too hard to be a sleeper.

Do it. Only takes some string and adhesive remover
